Step into the world of Kanaha Iwasaki, where memories, myths, and the everyday collide to create dreamlike narratives that transport you to realms beyond the familiar. 

Born in Okinawa in 1996 and now based in Tokyo, Iwasaki draws on her personal stories and cultural heritage to create paintings that feel both timeless and otherworldly. Her work blurs the boundaries between the seen and the imagined, incorporating animals, plants, and ethereal creatures in pictorial compositions that can only exist in the unique space of her canvas.

Each painting invites viewers to explore the tension between memory and imagination, between the tangible and the mystical. Her soft, textured approach evokes a sense of wonder, offering a doorway to an "ultimate unknown world" where time, space, and perception intermingle. 

A graduate of Tama Art University’s prestigious Graduate School of Fine Arts, Iwasaki’s process is as much about the act of creation as it is about connection—she invites us not only to observe her work but to step into its stories and make them our own.

Kanaha Iwasaki’s paintings offer an invitation to explore the transformative power of the unseen. They are not just paintings; they are portals to a world waiting to be discovered.
